What is Adobe FrameMaker
Adobe FrameMaker software is a document processor tool designed for editing and writing complex or large documents, including structured documents too. It includes dita support, XML support (earlier were SGML) and more. FrameMaker is usually used by technical communicators once writing massive technical documents. The present version is FrameMaker 2017.
In 1995 Adobe bought FrameMaker. Support for Mac OS was terminated in 2004 with the brand new replacement product Adobe InDesign. At this point there were rumors that FrameMaker would haven't any new development but later it proved false.
FrameMaker uses by the Algonquin college technical writer program. There's also a MyDesktop image obtainable only for the technical writing program that features FrameMaker. MyDesktop is a virtual environment where you'll be able to use software without installing it.
