She is a famous Bangladeshi film actress. She is the sister of popular actress Shuchanda and Bobita. They are 3 are sister and all are the actress of the Dhallywood movie industry.

Champa was a strong actress in the film for the central role during the nineties and won the National Film Award for her suberb performance within the media arena.

Early Life of Champa


She was born on january five, 1950 in Jessore to B. J. Ara and Nizamuddin Ataub. Her father was government worker where the mother was a doctor. The family roamed in the completely different corner of the country because of Champa’s father job.

She was born in a film-loving and educated family. Champa born with 5 siblings. Her 3 are well established in life and rest of her 2 sister are also film actress as like herself.

Career of Champa


She started the journey within the media arena with modeling, then started acting in tv drama and got popularity throughout the country. She created her film debut with the film Tin Konna in 1986. In the film, she portrayed the character of a police inspector and created a fierce stir within the Dhallywood box office that was time.

Following the year, she acted in the film Nishpap first time with actor Alamgir, then Champa starred in the film Padma Nadir Majhi, the film conveys the National Film Award for the best actress category. In 2004, she starred in the blockbuster film Shasti with actor Riaz, Purnima and Ilias Kanchan.

Champa showed off her terrific performance within the movie Chandragrohon with Shahiduzzaman Selim, Sohana Saba and Riaz. The film was successful and won the National Film Award. Recently, she signed with a film Hridoy Choa Valobasha with Shirin Shila, Pori Moni and Zayed Khan.

Personal Life of Champa


She married to a businessman named Islam Khan in 1982. The couple has a girl called Esha. Actor Riaz is her cousin, Moushumi is niece in law and Omar Sunny is nephew.
